After 4 long days of running and some great team spirit across the 18 teams taking part, we reached Paris on Sunday afternoon!

Nearly there!

Saturday 13th Sep
We are at the end of Day 3! A tough day  and I did a 15-miler, but the good news is we’ll be in Paris by this time tomorrow…. A sterling effort by the whole team and it’s an amazing event to be part of!

Training and fundraising update

Wednesday 6th Aug
Hi all, training going well and thanks to Bev for being support crew for a Half Marathon training run up here in the Highlands this morning. Sadly SSAFA have pulled out of supporting the event and so fundraising is just for Parkinson’s UK now - obviously still an awesome charity that I hope you all feel happy to support but clearly a real shame about SSAFA! Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far x

We are running to Paris!

Friday 11th Jul
I am running from London to Paris over 4 days (11-14 Sep), but luckily in a relay team with some great friends - Delia, Emma, Sara and Tom. Each of us still has to run roughly a half marathon a day for 4 days, so it is a real challenge - around 50 miles across the 4 days… The run is in aid of 2 charities Parkinson's UK and SSAFA(The Armed Forces charity) and I would be hugely grateful to anyone who feels they are able to support these excellent causes. SSAFA is of course an obvious charity for me to support as I hit 29 years in the RAF, but I also have 2 family members with Parkinson’s and so both charities are close to my heart. Thank you for your support! Ange 🙏
