No matter where life takes us, we should try to make a difference in every environment we’re in.
I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to support The Seafarers’ Charity! 🏃♂️⚓️
I’m taking on this challenge to raise funds for The Seafarers’ Charity, which supports those who dedicate their lives to working at sea and their families.
It’s not just a volunteering effort — it’s also a deeply personal milestone for me. After several injuries that ended my professional football career, this marathon represents resilience, recovery, and purpose.
Almost four years ago, I had to leave my home because of the war. Since then, I’ve tried to make an impact wherever I am.
I became a counselor and ski instructor, spending my holidays supporting children affected by war — helping them rebuild confidence and joy through sport and connection.
In London, I continued my volunteering journey as a STEM Ambassador, speaking at events to inspire and mentor the younger generation.
Being one of the lucky few with a rare blood type (AB-), I also became a regular blood donor, giving 0.5 litres every two months — a small act that can make a big difference.
Now, as part of Alcatel Submarine Networks, a company that connects the world through undersea cables, I want to make a difference in the environment I work in too.
That’s why I’m running the London Marathon 2026 — to support The Seafarers’ Charity and the people who keep our world connected by sea.
I count on your support — just as you can always count on mine. 🙏
Thank you all for your encouragement and belief.
