As a marathon runner from the Kingdom of Bhutan, I’ve been privileged to compete in five of the six World Marathon Majors-Chicago, New York (six times with PB 3:06), Boston, Tokyo, and Berlin, despite having a full time job. Now, I’m determined to complete the prestigious London Marathon and achieve my dream of becoming the first person from Bhutan to conquer all six Majors.
But this journey is about more than personal ambition. I’m running for a cause that touches lives across the globe - supporting the Seafarers’ charity. The seafarer community plays a vital role in keeping the world connected, often enduring challenging conditions to keep global trade and travel running smoothly. This charity provides critical support to seafarers and their families, offering welfare, financial assistance, and resources for those in need.
With your help, I can contribute to this meaningful cause while achieving my lifelong dream. Your donation, no matter the size, will help seafarers and their families during times of need and empower me to represent Bhutan on the global stage and inspire many others (especially young girls) to take up healthy habits and never stop pursuing their dreams.
