Having already completed two marathons,
I’m now on my way to my third — and I’ve decided that my fourth marathon will be a special one: the London Marathon 2027, with an even more meaningful goal behind it.
Having worked in the maritime industry, I have a great appreciation for the people who keep our industry moving. Behind every vessel, every voyage and every operation are seafarers who spend months away from home and their families, often working in challenging and demanding conditions.
The Seafarers’ Charity has been supporting seafarers, former seafarers and their families for generations, providing vital assistance during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
I am proud to be able to contribute to their work by taking on this personal challenge and aiming to raise as much as possible for this important cause.
