Hey everyone!
We are a group of students from the University of Reading, and we’ve set ourselves an epic challenge — to run from London to Paris, covering a total of 362km in just 4 days. Yep, you read that right. Four days. Two cities. One mission.
Why We’re Running
We’re taking on this challenge to raise money for two incredible charities doing life-changing work: SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, and Parkinson’s UK.
SSAFA provides practical, emotional, and financial support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Whether it’s helping veterans adjust to civilian life, supporting bereaved families, offering mental health services, or getting homeless veterans off the streets — SSAFA makes sure that no one in the Armed Forces community faces adversity alone.
Parkinson’s UK is the leading charity driving forward groundbreaking research to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for Parkinson’s — the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world. Right now, around 153,000 people in the UK are living with Parkinson’s, and the charity also provides vital support to help them and their families manage the challenges of daily life.
Our Goal
We’re aiming to raise £2,000 and we need your help to get there!
