I'm fundraising for...

That's right me and the team are running to Paris. You heard, from London to Paris on foot, in just 4 days. Wish us luck but more importantly please donate. Your donation will go towards two really important causes, Supporting Parkinson's UK and SSAFA. I really appreciate your support.

From First Steps to 200 Miles: My Running Journey

Thursday 24th Jul

I laced up my running shoes for the first time in 2013. Back then, it was casual — a way to clear my head and stay active. But everything changed after the birth of my little girl, Hope. She became my inspiration, and running transformed from a hobby into a passion.

In 2023, I set myself a challenge: a half marathon every month. Some months, I even ran three. It was tough, but I loved every mile. The rhythm, the community, the sense of achievement — it all clicked. And with each finish line, I felt a growing desire to push further.

So I did.

In September 2024, I ran the New Forest Marathon — my first full marathon. Not long after, I took on my first ultramarathon: 50 kilometers of grit, determination, and joy. Then in May 2025, I pushed my limits again with a 58k run through the stunning (and hilly!) trails of Devon — my longest distance yet.

But the journey hasn’t been without setbacks. A knee injury shortly after that 58k run forced me into nearly two months of recovery. It was frustrating, but also humbling. That time off reminded me why I run — not just for the medals or milestones, but for the strength it gives me, inside and out.

Now, I’m back. Stronger. More focused. And ready for my biggest challenge yet: Run2Paris — over 200 miles on foot, from the UK to the heart of France.

This isn’t just a run. It’s a celebration of how far I’ve come — from a casual jogger in 2013 to an ultrarunner chasing down dreams with every step. And I’m just getting started.
