I'm fundraising for...
Hi all,This run has been a dream of mine for a long time and I am happy to say that I have roped 9 other (we have two teams) of my Garda colleagues into it!
We will run the 225 miles from Wimbledon, London all the way to Paris, over 4 days. With 5 on a team, that's at least a half marathon each day for each runner.
We are funding all of the associated costs ourselves and so 100% of your donation will go to our UK charities which are Parkinsons UK and Regain Sports Charity.
When we meet our required target, we will then fundraise for Little Blue Heroes. This is a charity that provides practical and financial support to families of children who have serious illnesses while granting the wish of the children it supports to become Honorary Gardaí to empower the child.
