Another event in the bag

We took part in the Paddock Wood half marathon today, PB’s were made and a all round great event. 
My training really kicks off this weekend I’m doing consecutive days exercise without recovery days, after all, we won’t get a recovery day on our journey to Paris. 
Next in the plan it’s running on consecutive days and then upping the distance before tapering down again. 
As ever I’ll keep you all updated. We’re hosting a quiz night in April so keep your eyes peeled for more info. about that.

Canterbury 10 miler race report

The weather really warmed up nicely for our event today and lots of Faversham runners gathered together for our first running event of 2024. 
Janine and I saw this as a perfect training run for our relay race to Paris in May. We managed really good splits and a extremely strong finish 💪
Janine hasn’t done many events and I just collected my 89th medal, this didn’t stop us being the perfect partnership and made for a lovely enjoyable run. 
The rest of the team also got out and completed strong runs all round. 
Training is going really well, please keep the donations coming in for the fabulous charities and look out for our fundraising events coming up. Quiz of the year will be Friday 5th April and more details to follow about this.
