My Updates

I’m running for my dad
Thursday 17th Jul I lost my lovely dad on July 4th, he had Parkinsons for 10 years, and it broke my heart to lose him so gradually, starting with his body and then his wit and charm, and then we lost him.I miss him everyday.
In caring for my dad, I recognised that it’s a something so many people suffer with and for everyone involved it can feel like it’s impossible to have an impact and slow down the progression of the disease.
A few weeks after my dad died, I bumped into Nick who told me his dad also had Parkinsons and he told me about the race. In a really tough year, I know my dad would love to hear that I’m running to Paris to raise money for a great cause.
