Having cycled from London to Paris in 2012 when I was much younger (and fitter), I'm now doing the same again, but this time on foot as part of a team of five.

To make it happen, we will each cover approximately 20 kilometres per day over a four-day period in September, camping between legs.

Both charities we are raising money for are fantastic causes: Samaritans (Mental Health) and Air Ambulance Charity Kent/Surrey/Sussex.
