I'm fundraising for...

In September 2026, I'll be lacing up my running shoes and embarking on a monumental challenge: a 252-mile relay race from London to Paris over four intense days! I'll be part of a fantastic team of five, and together, we'll each be covering, on average, at least 12 miles every single day. Yes, you read that right – that's a lot of miles, a lot of sweat, and undoubtedly a lot of laughs (and maybe a few groans!).

Conquering the Miles for Parkinson’s UK: My 252 Mile Relay Challenge!
Friday 28th NovHi everyone!
Get ready for an epic adventure!
This isn't just about pushing my physical limits; it's about making a real difference. I'm incredibly proud to be undertaking this challenge to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition that affects around 145,000 people in the UK. It impacts movement, speech, and many other aspects of daily life, and there is currently no cure. The work Parkinson's UK does is absolutely crucial – funding groundbreaking research to find better treatments and a cure, while also providing essential support and information for people living with the condition and their families.
I'm aiming to raise £400 to contribute to their incredible efforts. Every single mile I run, and every penny you donate, will bring us closer to a future free from Parkinson's.
The thought of those 252 miles might seem daunting, but knowing that I'm running for such a worthy cause will be all the motivation I need. I'll be sharing updates on my training journey, the highs and lows, and all the incredible moments leading up to September 2026.
I'd be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, big or small. You can donate directly through this page, and please do share my challenge with your friends and family. Together, we can make a real impact.
Thank you for being part of this journey!
Sonia
