Alastair Long

Run2Paris 2024

I'm fundraising in memory of Nigel Long

Ryan, Finlay, George, Elliott & Al are running to Paris in just 4 days. As a team, they'll complete 225 miles on route from London to the Eiffel Tower.

Al's dad, Nigel Long, sadly passed away on Saturday 6th January. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2017 and more recently Parkinson's Dementia. He'll be remembered as a great family man who had time for everyone; who lived for golf and loved a party. As a team, we're running to Paris in support of two great charities. Parkinson's UK, who support those people affected by Parkinson's, and SSAFA, who provide welfare, health and support services for the armed forces.

Wish us luck, but more importantly please donate. Your donation will go towards two really important causes, Supporting Parkinson's UK and SSAFA. We really appreciate your support.

Thank you to my Sponsors

Pain is just bread in French! Seems appropriate motivation right now. A great cause, Al. I'll be thinking of you this weekend - you've absolutely got this. Run like there's delicious croissants and un demi pression (or two) waiting at the finish line for you.

Good luck Al! Try, as best you can, not to accidentally imbibe 17 Guinness beforehand, but I’m sure you’d manage anyway! Hope all goes well, pa!
