I'm fundraising for The Seafarers Charity
This will be my 2nd time running the London Marathon on 21st April 2024.
I am delighted and honoured to run for The Seafarers Charity.
I come from a family of Seafarers and I was a Nursing Officer for a Cruise Ship company where I met my husband who is also a Seafarer.
Working at Sea comes with it's challenges and being away from family and friends for long periods of time can be difficult.
As a wife of a Seafarer and the risks that go with the job, it is important we support The Seafarers’ Charity. Helping/supporting those who work at sea, whether they are on the other side of the world or in our local ports and supporting their families too.
