I'm fundraising for Seafarers again. Training starts now
I'm taking on the 24 Peaks Challenge over the 6-7 July 2024.
2 days. 33 miles (more like 40 on both the previous occasions I have done it - and I do not believe that route has changed much) . 13,000 ft ascent. I'm doing all this to raise vital funds to support The Seafarers’ Charity – helping those who work at sea and their families.
21 April. Yesterday the team from Maidenhead went to the Brecon Beacons for the second training hike. This time the weather was much kinder to us (no snow) and we completed a 12.5 mile circuit with 3,500 ft of ascent.

Good luck Richard, easy challenge for you, great cause.
Good luck Richard - you will eat those mountains for breakfast. And celebrate with a Wainwrights ale at supper. A good cause and a tough challenge.
